  1. The weirdest Valentine's gift I ever got was a rock. I was in third grade and the boy I liked drew a heart on it with a marker and gave it to me.

  2. This is a hard. I'm not sure if this is exactly weird, but one year my husband gave me a picnic basket with wine in it. I got home from a long day to find a sticky note on the door, which sent me on a scavenger hunt for the next half an hour. I found the basket on the pool table in the basement.

  3. My weirdest Valentine's Day gift was about 9 years ago, my hubby got me a talking PowerPuff girl. Everytime that stupid thing was bumped it spewed "I have to save the world!"
When I asked the hubby later what he had meant by gifting me this, his reply was "Well she was cute and you're cute."

  5. I don't have a weird Valentines Day gift as such. I was given a red rose that died rather quickly. It turned out a caterpillar had hatched inside the bud and killed it. I still think of that caterpillar with malice for destroying my rose!!

  6. My creepiest Valentine: "Months after we broke-up and she moved out-of-state, I received a small, mysterious package in the mail from my ex-girlfriend. Inside was a cassette tape labelled 'Happy Valentine's Day'. I didn't play it for a long time (It was an ugly break-up - She even tried to break into my house afterwards to "talk to me"... Yeah, right!) Well, curiosity eventually won out: On the tape was her singing all the songs from the "Phantom of the Opera", all alone without any accompaniment. I listened to them all; waiting for some explanation. There was none. I never saw or heard from her ever again..." - Tommy's Byrd (posted for Tommy.)

  7. I have been trying to think of a valentines day present that I had recieved that was either weird or creepy. And so here goes I'm totally scared of clowns and so an ex boyfriend thought it would be funny to give me a clown marionette for a present. Scared the crap out of me. Needless to say that's why he is an ex.

    Thanks

  8. The weirdest valentine's day gift I ever received was from someone I didn't know. It was left on my door. There was a small heartshaped box outside with one of those fake hearts in it from Halloween. I did call the cops to report it but since nothing came of it and I never heard from anyone about "hey did you like it" I just let it go, for the most part, we moved in April of that year.

  10. My Weirdest Valentine Gift would have to be chocolates.... Nothing weird about that right? Except for the fact that they were months out of date and when I opened them they were speckled with white stuff. I was only about 13 but they went straight in the bin and none of them went in my mouth Lol. Gross! Oh and I had musical socks... they were the most annoying things in the World!

  11. Hmmm not sure if mine will appear twice : ) BUT, the oddest gift I received was from someone I barely knew. Several months prior; (it may have been around Halloween and would have been the last of the three times I met this person and last conversation too) we were in a meeting together and for whatever reason I mentioned in the conversation that I liked black roses and that a true black rose was rare...most sold commercially are dyed and not hybrids. On Valentine's Day - I received a dozen black roses; with a card and only initials for the signature... I had no clue who they were from.. I called the florist and finally got it out of them. I called him to thank him and tell him they were beautiful. He seemed quite put off that I found out it was him. I never heard from him again. Strange.

  15. Weirdest? A shower curtain. That was 15 years ago and I still haven't figured out why. I didn't need a new one. I never asked for one. And it was HIDEOUS. Made me wonder if the person meant to kill me while I showered? Hope everyone gets much better gifts this year...these comments have been interesting LOL.

  16. On Valentine's Day when I was 13, I started my period. My mom thought it would be appropriate (funny) to take a box of chocolates, remove them, and fill it up with pads as a joke. I was mortified and still didn't even get any of the chocolates. Kelly Bradley. Post for her by Char of the Mavens.
